Orarion

The orar is a part of the deacon’s vestments that is worn over the stole on the left shoulder. It is a long strip (ribbon) of fabric that goes down from the front and back almost to the floor. The orar is fastened with a buttonhole on the left shoulder of the stikhar, so that its ends hang freely down.

In this section of the site, you can choose and buy or order orars. All the orars presented in the RYZA online chuch store can be made in any color and size you wish.

An embroidered orar can be made on the basis of: gabardine, thick satin or velvet. Our company uses for sewing liturgical vestments church fabrics of domestic and Greek production, which are of high quality and have been tested by our customers for many years.
